They won an army of fans after winning gold in the 1984 Winter Olympics with their iconic bolero routine.
And Dancing on Ice legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean have reunited, taking to the ice to show they haven't lost any of their skill after 45 years dancing together.
Amazing: Torvill and Dean became stars after winning gold in the 1984 Winter Olympics with their famous Bolero routine
In an exclusive video released ahead of the Dancing on Ice tour later this year, the pair can be seen donning their skates before heading to the rink, showcasing several of their famous moves.
The video starts as the pair put on their skates, with Christopher revealing that while they had performed together on stage in rollerblades, this was their first time back on the ice in four years.
As Jayne admitted the moment was 'exciting', Chris added that he 'hoped we're smiling as much when we come off.'Â
The skating champion then confidently said: 'We'll come back', before crossing his fingers jokingly.Â
The video then shows the pair returning to their iconic pairing as if no time had passed, sweeping along the ice performing turns and forward crossover moves.
Torvill and Dean became international stars after winning gold in the 1984 Winter Olympics with their Bolero routine, and have now been skating together for 45 years.
While they are both in separate relationships – Christopher with Karen Barber and Jayne with her husband of 27 years, Phil Christensen – the pair have previously admitted to being romantically involved once before when they were both single.
Previously speaking to The Sun: 'We were very involved. We were really close — we spent so many hours together training week in, week out.'Â
Despite continuing to perform since Dancing on Ice ended in 2014, Chris also admitted that age has started to catch up with him in recent years, as he has started to suffer from arthritis.
He told the Daily Mirror: 'The knees don't bend quite as deeply as they used to. I think I have arthritis in my knees. I just manage it.
'I can still skate, paracetamol helps. I'm pretty reckless – I'll deal with it later.'
Torvill and Dean's reunion on the ice came as it was also revealed they were banned from performing on the Dancing on Ice revival, which kicked off last week.
'They haven't insured us to go on the ice so they wouldn't let us go on. I think it's just a standard contract. I don't get it,' Chris told the Daily Star.
