Valentines day could be bad for your health, if you forget to get something for your significant other that is.
Some like chocolate, others, a good bottle of their favourite tipple but how about some healthy treats to spoil them?
Here’s 5 fun ideas:
- Draw a large heart on the sidewalk in chalk with Happy Valentines. Around the outside draw 3 x’s for kisses to show them how much you care.
- Make avocado on toast but cut out heart-shaped toast and heart-shaped avocado pieces laid out on the toast for breakfast in bed.
- Spend one day not saying anything bad about your love, and shower them with signs of appreciation. Tell them that you value and love what they do throughout the day. Txts, notes and phone calls work too.
- Going home empty handed? Go for a walk and pick flowers. Make it a decent sized bunch or make a voucher that you promise to give them free time without interruption or a 5 minute massage when they watch their favourite sport or TV programme.
- Set the mood with aromatherapy candles at night and turn those lights down low. Play some music that you know lights up your partners fire. Or alternatively you could go and mow the lawn for him or clean the bathroom for her. I know which one I’d pick.
