The top movies and meals from five major airlines flying to and from Australasia have been revealed, with surprising results.
Disney film Moana topped this year's current list for favourite in-flight entertainment, while chicken proved the winning dish among airline cuisine, reports The Daily Mail.
Air New Zealand, Qantas, Emirates, Virgin Australia and United, were among those who provided the results to Escape.
Movies and television shows were spread across the board with Disney films proving highly popular in 2017.
Moana, starring the voice talents of Dwayne Johnson and Auli'i Cravalho, was the most watched film on United Airlines and had the greatest views per month at Air New Zealand.
While the live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast rated highly on both United Airlines and Qantas flights.
Proving the hype around comic book movies hasn't subsided, Deadpool garnered more than 150,000 views on Virgin Australia flights, having previously topped Qantas' top ten list in 2016.
When it came to television shows, comedies appeared to be favoured more strongly than other genres.
The most-watched television shows was almost unanimously The Big Bang Theory, with the half-hour episodes a favourite among those flying.
