Coast’s $10,000 Feel Good 500 Countdown is back for 2022

It's a three-peat! Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody' has topped Coast’s Feel Good 500 again!

'Bohemian Rhapsody' was number one for the third year and a back-to-back winner having also been number one in 2021.

British supergroup Queen scored a double, coming in at number two with 'Don’t Stop Me Now,' which moved up eight places from number ten in 2021.

Pātea Māori Club’s 'Poi E' was number three, down one place from number two last year.

The artist with the most songs in the Countdown this year was Elton John who achieved 21 songs, including duets, in the 500.

There were 201 new entries in the Countdown for 2022.

Rounding out the Top Five were Katrina and the Waves at number four with 'Walking on Sunshine,' up one place from 2021 and switching with The Eagles who fell one place to number five with 'Hotel California.'

Coast's Feel Good Breakfast host Toni Street said: "This year's record voting by Coast listeners made for an epic countdown. It was great to see New Zealand's favourite band Queen regain number one and two."
