Adam Lambert reveals he has a new album of cover songs coming out

It's nearly five months since Adam Lambert last took to the stage with Queen on their Rhapsody Tour.

So what has the legendary rocker been doing during his downtime?

Making new music, of course.

Speaking on the British daytime talk show, This Morning, the 'If I Had You' singer announced he will be releasing a album.

"I'm very excited to announce that I have a new album coming out,” the American Idol runner-up said.

"It is an album of covers and it’s called High Drama."

Lambert also revealed that the album will feature around 11 tracks and will be full of "surprises" and "variety."

He continued: "We thought, let me do an album where I take songs that you probably know, maybe a few you don’t know, and completely flip them around so they feel like something new and something that you haven’t heard before."
