Adele extends her Las Vegas residency and is planning a concert film

What happens in Vegas may not be staying in Vegas any longer!

Adele has just announced that she will extend her residency at Caesars Palace, with shows resuming on June 16th and running until November 4th. The June shows will also be recorded for a concert film.

“Playing to 4,000 people for 34 dates is not enough, and I know that,” Adele said. “So I am coming back for a few weeks in June, and I’m going to release it to make sure anyone who wants to see this show can see it.”

This extension comes as a very welcome surprise to those who have been following the journey it took for Adele to get here. Originally meant to kick off in January 2021, there were delays due to COVID-19 and reports that Adele was unhappy with the original staging.

These delays however didn't stop her from putting on amazing performances - bringing in strong reviews and a series of sold-out performances. 

We can't wait to watch the concert film once it releases, and hopefully, she'll come back to New Zealand soon!
