Ant McPartlin was spotted at London's Heathrow Airport last month as he jetted out of the UK shortly after his best pal Declan Donnelly was seen visiting his home.

The embattled star, who left rehab in August after sorting through depression and substance abuse, was seen hiding his ring finger amid claims his marriage to wife Lisa Armstrong has been rocked by his battle with addiction.

Just hours before his departure, Dec was joined by his wife Ali Astall, as he headed to visit his friend and co-star's London home.

Ant went low-key at the airport as he sported a black hoodie with loose-fitting shorts and grey Adidas trainers while he continues to sport his leg brace, following a botched operation on his knee - which is said to have led to his addiction woes.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Ant for comment.

The outing came after Ant's marriage to make-up artist Lisa Armstrong was rocked by claims of trouble.

According to the Daily Star, Lisa is 'upset' with Ant, who previously admitted he had put his wife 'through hell with mood swings and depression' during his battle, and that the pair are spending increasing amounts of time apart.

A source told the newspaper: 'She’s had a rough year. And she’s made it clear it’s because of Ant.

'They’ve hardly been seen in public together since he came back from rehab a month ago.'

The TV presenter has previously credited wife of 11 years Lisa, for her 'amazing' and continued support throughout his troubles, after admitting he had put the make-up artist 'through hell with mood swings and depression' before seeking treatment.

Ant returned home after addressing his health battle and seeking out treatment by checking into rehab in June.

Prior to his stay, Ant revealed he has been battling his condition for two years after an operation on his knee went wrong in 2014, leaving him in constant pain, and amid fertility struggles with his wife.

Following the surgery, Ant began taking the opioid painkiller Tramadol and became addicted. He revealed he had come close to death at the worst of his condition, which saw him rushed to hospital following a drugs and booze binge.

For the first time in three years, Ant is now believed to be clean and has lost a stone since being admitted into rehab.
