Brandi Carlile performs stunning country cover of Elton John's 'Rocket Man'

While Sir Elton John has countless hits to his name, one of his most beloved songs would be 'Rocket Man.'

And now Brandi Carlile has put her own spin on the 1972 track.

Taking to the stage at Forest Hills Stadium, the 40-year-old singer belted out a stunning country-inspired version of the iconic song. 

Her set list also included a cover of Simon and Garfunkel's 'The Sound of Silence'.
