Less than one year since Cameron Diaz announced her return to acting after retiring six years earlier, she has shared some disappointing news with her fans ...
The 50-year-old will officially retire for good after she wraps the Netflix film Back in Action with Jamie Foxx.
The Charlie's Angels star reportedly wants to focus on being a mum to her three-year-old daughter Raddix Madden, who was born in December 2019.
A source close to Diaz told the Daily Mail: "These back-to-back 10-hour workdays have been a lot on her and she hates being away from Raddix."
While Diaz's husband, Benji Madden, is supportive of her acting career, her time on set has apparently "been a lot on him" as well.
Little is known about the film, but Canadian comedy actor Seth Rogen is on deck to direct, having also co-written the script alongside Brendan O'Brien.
Diaz previously opened up about retiring from acting in an interview last year, telling the podcast Quarantined With Bruce that she is focused on being a mother.
The star's last acting role was 2014's Annie remake.
