Dolly Parton releases electronic dance remix of 'Jolene'

Dolly Parton's 1974 hit 'Jolene' is one of her most beloved songs ... but prepare to hear it as you've never heard it before!

After 47 years, the cherished country queen has decided it's time the iconic folk song got a modern remix.

Taking to Twitter, Parton announced that she has teamed up with Destructo, otherwise known as Gary Richards, to release a remix of 'Jolene' featuring funky beats and electronic tones.

"My little song 'Jolene' has been done so many different ways and I love them all, but I think this one is my favourite," the country diva said. "It makes me want to dance!"
