Dolly Parton shares rare photo of herself with husband Carl Dean for Thanksgiving

Dolly Parton sent social media users into a frenzy today when she shared a rare photo of her husband, Carl.

Taking to Instagram, the Queen of Country posted the throwback snap in celebration of Thanksgiving.

In the shot, the 75-year-old can be seen spending time with her rarely-seen husband as they sit next to each other on a couch in their earlier years.

Alongside the picture, the 'Jolene' singer wrote: "Happy #Thanksgiving from me and mine to you and yours."

Parton has not shared many photos of Carl, as he prefers to maintain his privacy.

Parton and Dean initially met outside of a Nashville laundromat in 1964 when the singer was just 18 years old.

The two dated for over a year before they decided to make their union official in 1966.
