Ed Sheeran surprises fans by signing 'sauceographs'

This week, Ed Sheeran surprised supermarket shoppers by making a surprise appearance in a food truck to dish out ‘sauceographs'.

The Perfect singer appeared at a Sainsbury’s supermarket in London Colney to promote his new Tingly Ted's hot sauce range and sign fans groceries.

Lettuce, bread loaves, blocks of cheese and even the occasional roll of kitchen paper were transformed into ‘sauceographs’.

One shopper pulled out broccoli to be signed with sauce, while another got a vinyl record signed in hot sauce by Sheeran.

Ed said: "It was super exciting popping into Sainsbury’s and surprising some shoppers. Tingly Ted's has been such a fun project so far, hope everyone is enjoying mixing it with whatever food they like, I’m still discovering meals that it makes even better.”

Satwinder Hayre, Store Manager at Sainsbury’s London Colney, added: "We were delighted that Ed Sheeran made a surprise visit to our store today to show off his Tingly Ted's hot sauces, it certainly gave our customers shivers!”

Tingly Ted’s was named after Ed’s childhood nickname and comes in two hot sauces: Tingly and Xtra Tingly.

The sauces are vegan-friendly and have no added colours, artificial flavours or preservatives - with the bottles made from recycled materials and are fully recyclable.
