Ed Sheeran teams up with Whittaker’s to release a custom chocolate bar to raise money for Auckland flood relief

While he's on our shores, Ed Sheeran wants to offer some sweet relief to flood-hit Aucklanders.

The British singer-songwriter has announced he's teaming up with iconic Kiwi brand Whittaker’s Chocolate to release a special "Ed Block" - made up of their Five Roll Refined Creamy Milk Chocolate, complete with his face on the label.

Five blocks of the special Ed-ition chocolate have been uploaded to TradeMe to raise funds for Auckland flood relief.

But that's not all ...

Each block has been signed by Ed, and also comes with a signed one-of-a-kind Ed tee as well as a year's supply of Whittaker's Chocolate (52 x 250g blocks)!

One hundred per cent of funds raised through the Ed Block auctions will go to the Auckland City Mission - Te Tapui Atawhai, who will distribute funding, in association with Foundation North - Hapai Putea Oranga, to other trusted local community organisations also delivering on-the-ground support to help those in greatest need across the city in the aftermath of the flooding.
