It might not be throwback Thursday, but one very famous Kiwi couldn't resist sharing a throwback snap. 

A young former All Black posted a gorgeous pic of himself as a kid, throwing back to "a younger version with freckles and curls". 

The one and only Dan Carter: 

He thanked his mum for sending through the snap which he shared with his 836,000 Instagram followers and 627,000 Twitter followers. 

And fans reacted the only way you can: "You can say nothing but 'super cute.'"
