Celine Dion's brother Daniel has died aged 59 after losing his battle with cancer, just two days after the singer's husband passed away.
Daniel Dion died yesterday morning, a day after his family revealed that they believed he had just hours to live.
Celine's sister Claudette revealed their brother was dying of cancer. She told TMZ that Daniel, 59, had been fighting "brain, tongue and throat cancer".
Celine's husband René Angélil died from throat cancer aged 73 on Thursday.
The funeral for 73-year-old Angelil will be held on January 22 at Montreal's Notre Dame Basilica, the same church where the two were married in 1994.
PEOPLE reports that his obituary reads: "According to his final wishes, his funeral will be held at Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal, where 21 years ago, he chose to marry the one who will remain as the great love of his life, the artist for which he had the most respect, the woman who gave him light and happiness until his very last breath."
A wake will be held on Thursday between 2 pm and 9 pm, where the public will be able to pay their respects.
A celebration of Angelil's life will also be held on February 3 in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace Colosseum.
