Donald Trump attacks Meryl Streep over her Golden Globes speech

The biggest moment of yesterdays Golden Globes came when Meryl Streep used her acceptance speech as an opportunity to shame president-elect Donald Trump. 

Whilst she didn't directly name Trump, Streep astonished Hollywood with her speech around the President-elect, celebrating the diversity of Hollywood's brightest stars while damning Trump's impression of a disabled journalist that shocked the world in November 2015.

Trump has now responded to the speech, with the following Tweets: 

Trump also spoke to the The New York Times, saying he was "not surprised" by her comments, nor that he was a subject of controversy for "liberal movie people."
