Kate Middleton channels Princess Diana in new photo

She may not have realised it, but the Duchess was following in the footsteps of Princess Diana in more ways than one over the weekend.

On Sunday, Kate joined the rest of the royal family in a somber ceremony to remember Britain's war dead.

Her late mother-in-law did the same during her palace years — and in one photograph taken on Sunday, Kate channels Diana with a similar upward gaze.

Kate wore a black Diane von Furstenberg coat accessorised with the red poppy emblem of remembrance.

But, it's not the first time Kate has followed in her late mother-in-law's footsteps...
