Liam & Renee Stewart rock with Rod in New York

Rocking Rod Stewart performed in New York with Cyndi Lauper this week and he and wife Penny Lancaster made a family reunion of it with six of Stewart’s eight kids.

His two children with Rachel Hunter, dancer Renee and ice hockey star Liam made the trip, as did their older half siblings Kimberly and Sean, from Rod’s marriage with Alana Hamilton.

Rod and Penny’s two young sons, Alistair and Aiden were also at the Big Apple reunion.

Kimberly and Sean could well be described as Hollywood brats and showed their colourful side a few years back in the E! Channel’s reality show The Stewarts and the Hamiltons which ran for one season.

As for our Rach’s two kids — they have grafted hard on their careers and a social media post from Lancaster said it all. She and Rod posed with the pair at the roof top bar at the Peninsula Hotel, which she captioned: “Last night with these lovely kids, at the roof top bar of The Pen, New York.”

Don’t think our Rach was out in the cold. Hunter, who travelled from LA to Bondi this week, reposted a video from Liam rocking with Renee and their dad.

“My beautiful kids Renee & Liam having amazing funny moments with their Dad, love you guys,” said Hunter.

Liam 22, popped similar Do You Think I’m Sexy  dance moves to his dad, in a leopard print jacket reminiscent of his father’s skin tight leopard pants from the 70s. The professional dancer of the family, Renee 25, made good use of her time in Manhattan by doing a quintessential shoot, dancing in the street with celebrated NY based photographer Omar Robles.

Hunter was pretty proud of that too.
