Olivia Newton-John delighted fans of Grease: The Musical when she hinted at a reunion.
Appearing on This Morning on Thursday, the 68-year-old told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that she wanted to mark the show's 40th anniversary in 2018.
Phillip asked her: 'I know everyone always asks you about this but with the 40th coming up, it would be remiss of me not to bring up Grease.'
She replied: 'I can't believe it's that long. I would like to do something special to help the hospital I work with, but I don't know if we could get the rest of the cast together.'
Olivia famously played Sandy in the 1978 movie alongside John Travolta who played her love interest Danny.
Olivia was in fact on the show to talk about her new musical offering, Live On, which covers the topic of grief following the death of a loved one.
The iconic Australian sadly lost her sister, Rona, to a brain tumour in 2013 and has worked with singer songwriters Beth Nielsen Chapman and Amy Sky on the project.
She said: 'I realised that there is no music out there to help people going through grief.
'Beth lost her husband in 1994 to breast cancer, while Amy lost her mother.'
Olivia, who was diagnosed with breast cancer 22 years ago, said she has tried to find positives after successfully battling the disease.
She said: 'If it wasn't for the cancer, I wouldn't be doing what I do today, which is working with a hospital and wellbeing.
'I try to look for positives. Of course I was frightened and scared and I know some people haven't been as lucky as me.'
