The Chasers reveal how they win

Have you ever been watching The Chase thinking about how the Chasers remember so many facts?

During a recent interview, Anne 'The Governess' and Shaun 'The Destroyer' Wallace revealed how often they beat contestants who are appearing on the popular quiz show.

The hosts asked them on how they know so much information which normally leads to them winning.

“How do you know what you do know?” Eamonn asked the pair. “The rest of us, we go there and it’s whatever, little bits of knowledge, but do you guys, to be at your level, do you constantly have to study and update?”

The Destroyer answered first, telling them that he's a full-time barrister. He said that he only focusses on the facts he doesn't know when he's studying. He gets informed by reading newspapers watching TV and admits he also records other quiz shows so he can test himself. “I’m only interested in the questions I get wrong,” he explained.

The Governess said that she relies on the internet for her research purposes. “I use the internet an awful lot,” she told Eamonn and Ruth. “I’m always on news websites. I also do a lot of quizzing. I do online quizzes every morning.”
