The secret making Ellen “miserable”

Ellen DeGeneres comes off as a happy-go-lucky woman that has a bright and positive personality. 

However, some media outlets are reporting that her life isn't so peachy currently, as it's been alleged that her marriage is suffering from a rough patch. 

A source close to the couple has told Life & Style magazine that they are struggling to hold their marriage together.

“They’ve been trying really hard to keep their marriage together, but it seems like time is running out."

“They’re just always at each other’s throats.”

This source also said that the couple are arguing over their upcoming marriage anniversary celebrations.

“Ellen wants to plan an elaborate anniversary and Portia just wants her to concentrate on fixing their marriage. She feels like Ellen puts a Band-Aid on their problems.”

We’re hoping this is just rumour and speculation, but another source has backed up the claims. 

The source said that the pair often argued in front of staff from The Ellen Show.

“Ellen hates that. She never wants people at work to know about her personal problems,” the source said. “It was a huge wake-up call for her.”
