The uncle of Michael Bublé's son Noah has described his return to Argentina following treatment for liver cancer as a ‘blessing from God.’

Dario Lopilato confirmed the three-year-old has flown back to Buenos Aires with his doting parents Michael, 41, Luisana, 29, and his brother Elias, one - even though he was not pictured with them at the airport on Tuesday.

They touched down just after 6:00am on an American Airlines flight from Los Angeles, where Noah was diagnosed with cancer last November before starting a four-month course of chemotherapy.

Dario, who collected them from the airport, said: 'The only thing I can say as their uncle is that I’m over the moon to be playing with my nephews again.

'We are living this moment together. Luisana and Michael are going to talk later and I prefer to let them speak. But the important thing is that we’re all together here in Argentina. What can I say! It’s a blessing from God.'

Thanking the public for their support during the last few months, he added: 'The support people have shown has been incredible. We’ve really appreciated all their prayers.'

Singer Michael and Argentinian actress Luisana returned to her home country with their children so she can finish scenes on period drama Those Who Love And Hate - the film she was working on before dropping out to concentrate on saving her young son's life.

Michael also cancelled his work commitments, including plans to host the Brit Awards, held in London every February, following the diagnosis.

They are expected to remain in the country for around a month before returning to the United States so Noah can undergo a series of tests to make sure his recovery is continuing.
