Why Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have reunited

They are Beatles legends who last reunited seven years ago on hit Walk With You.

And on Sunday Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr came together again to share a nostalgic studio session.

Paul, 74, and Ringo, 76, last sang together at the end of 2009, but proved they still had it as they reunited over their love of music.

Taking to Twitter Ringo shared a snap of the dapper-dressed duo leaning in together as they posed for the camera.

'Thanks for coming over man and playing Great bass. I love you man peace and love', Ringo wrote fondly.
