Gwen Stefani sparks cosmetic surgery rumours after stepping out looking very different at ACM Awards

Gwen Stefani has long been known for her platinum blonde hair, signature red lips and old Hollywood-glamour style.

But recently the 49-year-old actress has shocked fans with her dramatic new look.

After attending the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas this week, onlookers are convinced she's undergone cosmetic surgery.

The former No Doubt singer stepped out with a tight, taut face and plump lips.

Posting a photo of herself to Instagram from the awards night, followers took to the comment section to share their surprise at her make-over.

"New lips who dis?" asked one Instagram user.

"Sorry Gwen, I am not really a fan of this look for once … too much [and] too fake, it doesn't fit you I think," wrote another.

"Chill on the surgery," added a straight-shooter.
