Here's your first look at the upcoming Kath & Kim reunion special

Look at moi. Look at moi. Look at moi. Now we've got one word to say to you, Kath & Kim are BACK!

Earlier this year rumours started swirling the beloved Australian sitcom would be getting a reboot, two decades after it first hit the screens.

And now we've had our first look at the upcoming reunion special.

Gina Riley, Jane Turner, Magda Szubanski, Glenn Robbins and Peter Rowsthorn have all reprised their original roles for the special, titled Our Effluent Life.

In a two-part celebration, we'll finally find out how our favourite foxy morons are living, loving and laughing as they are today.

Seven report there will also be plenty of never-before seen moments and appearances from some familiar faces and very special guests.

But one very important element of the original show will be missing, as the Patterson Lakes home used in the series was recently demolished.

Kath & Kim ran from 2002 to 2007, starring Jane Turner, Glenn Robbins, Magda Szubanski and Peter Rowsthorn.

The sitcom went on to make two spin-off movies, Da Kath & Kim Code (2005) and Kath and Kimderella (2012).

The sitcom tells the story of a dysfunctional mother and daughter, Kath and Kim, as they navigate life and love in the suburbs of Melbourne.
