Hilary Barry accidentally hacks Jeremy Wells' hair on Seven Sharp

If Hilary Barry was ever considering a backup career as a hairdresser, we'd say that idea is out the window now ...

While hairdressers have been closed during the nationwide lockdown, Seven Sharp has continued filming.

Which led to the much-loved TV presenter "kindly" offering to give her co-host, Jeremy Wells, a haircut.

An offer, we're surprised he accepted.

Taking to Jeremy's hair with clippers attached to a two-metre pole - for social distancing - things didn't exactly go to plan.

Admitting error to viewers, Hilary said: "Let's just say it didn't go as well as I'd hoped."

To which Wells confirmed: "No, it did not."

It was soon revealed Hilary had accidentally shaved a huge chunk out of his hair, leaving behind a bald rectangle.

"My heart was in the right place, I'm really, really sorry," Barry said.

"You could only describe that as a disaster, also a hit and run, it's a crime," Wells said.
