Jane Fonda and Diane Keaton get rowdy on bachelorette trip to Italy in ‘Book Club: The Next Chapter’ trailer

Totally fabulous. Slightly scandalous. 

Diane Keaton, Mary Steenburgen, Jane Fonda and Candice Bergen are getting the club back together for a new journey in Italy and the girls trip they never had.

Book Club: The Next Chapter follows the four best friends Vivian (Jane Fonda), Diane (Diane Keaton), Sharon (Candice Bergen) and Carol (Mary Steenburgen) as they take their book club to Italy where secrets are revealed and shenanigans ensue. 

The sequel to the 2018 film Book Club centres on Vivian surprising her pals with the news that she and Arthur (Don Johnson) are tying the knot. Diane, Sharon and Carol decide to accompany Vivian on an impromptu getaway to Italy in an effort to provide her with a special bachelorette celebration.

The official trailer features Vivian’s friends reacting to the news of her impending nuptials - including Bergen’s character quipping, “You’re getting married in a church? I’m shocked you didn’t burst into flames as you crossed the threshold.”
