John Travolta has the ultimate Viva Las Vegas birthday party to celebrate turning 69

John Travolta sure knows how to celebrate in style!

In honour of his 69th birthday on February 18, the actor travelled to Las Vegas with some friends and his daughter, Ella Bleu Travolta, to make his childhood Viva Las Vegas dream come true.

Taking to social media afterwards, the beloved Grease star shared a montage of footage from the getaway.

"I wanted to make my favourite childhood airline poster come to life for my birthday! So here we go! Viva Las Vegas! ✈️🍸🎰," John captioned the video set to Elvis Presley's 'Viva Las Vegas.'

In the clip, John and Ella can be seen dressed to the nines in a tux and a sparkling black dress as they board a private jet.

Aboard the flight, the father-daughter duo are joined by friends as they dine on steak.

When they land in Sin City, John and his party play some of the tables, take in a show and toast to the celebrations.

However, the sweetest clip in the footage, though, shows John effortlessly twirling his 22-year-old daughter around in the hallway of their hotel.

The video ends with John, Ella and the rest of the group getting back on the private plane before taking off once again.

The pair have an extremely close relationship, which has become more evident following the passing of Ella’s mum and John's wife of nearly 30 years, Kelly Preston.

Preston died in 2020 after a private battle with cancer.

Her death came 11 years after the family lost their son Jett Travolta, who died at the age of 16 after suffering a seizure in 2009.

Following Jett’s death, Kelly and John went on to have a second son, Benjamin, who is now 12.
