Kapa haka group that went viral with stunning Te Reo rendition of Adele's hit 'Easy On Me'

Kapa Haka group Angitu, from Auckland, found online fame last year after their incredible cover of Adele's latest hit 'Easy On Me' in te reo Māori went viral.

The group performed the powerful cover as their Whakawatea during Tāmaki Herenga Waka, Herenga Tangata Hakangahau 2022.

Taking to the stage at Spark Arena, Angitu blew everyone away with their performance, which featured an incredible solo by Awatea Wihongi.

The video, posted to the Whakaata Māori Facebook page, quickly received over 20,000 likes and has been viewed over 446,000 times.

We're not sure if Adele has seen it, but we're sure she would be very proud!
