Kate Middleton's brother James has got married in a secret ceremony

James Middleton is officially off the market!

The 34-year-old entrepreneur and younger brother of Kate and Pippa Middleton took to social media earlier this week to announce the exciting news he tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Alizee Thevenet.

Alongside a photo of him and his wife on their wedding day in Bormes-Les-Mimosas, a village in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, South-East France, James wrote: "Mr & Mrs Middleton."

"Yesterday I married the love of my life surrounded by family, friends and of course a few dogs in the beautiful village or Bormes-les-Mimosas. Words cannot describe how happy I am."

According to reports, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were among the guests at the wedding, along with James' sister Pippa Middleton and her spouse James Matthews.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, also attended the celebration.

The couple announced their engagement in September 2019, after meeting in 2018 when James' cocker spaniel, Ella, approached Alizee at a private members' club in London.

They had previously cancelled their wedding twice due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Alizee is a keen skier who speaks four languages, thanks to her time spent in countries including Chile, Indonesia and Belgium while growing up.

She moved to Britain eight years ago and has a masters degree in investment and finance from Queen Mary University of London.
