Kelly Clarkson performs soulful piano cover of Faith Hill's 'Breathe'

Is there any song Kelly Clarkson can’t do?!

While Faith Hill's 1999 hit song 'Breathe' is hard to top, the American Idol star has given her a run for her money.

Performing on Monday's episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Clarkson belted out a mesmerising piano rendition of the country song.

Dressed in all black on a darkened stage and illuminated by only a ring of yellow uplights, the 40-year-old gave us goosebumps as she effortlessly sang the well known lyrics. 

'Breathe' was the title track on Hill's fourth studio album.

The emotional ballad was the number one pop single of 2000 and nominated for three Grammy Awards, ultimately winning the Grammy for best female country vocal performance.
