Sir Elton John's legendary performance at Dodger Stadium launched him into global stardom 47 years ago and on Monday his career came full circle as he returned to Los Angeles with his final ever North American show.
And to help wave him off, the Rocket Man brought a host of famous friends to the stage at the once-in-a-lifetime concert.
First up, Brandi Carlile and John took on 'Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me,' while Dua Lipa came out for their collaborative track 'Cold Heart (PNAU Remix).'
But it was when Kiki Dee joined the legendary singer for his big send-off which was truly special.
Performing their 1976 duet 'Don’t Go Breaking My Heart' for the first time live since 2016, the duo bounced along to the track with beaming smiles in tow.
For his big farewell, John took the stage in a sparkling Dodger robe that recalled the glittering baseball uniform he wore in 1975 and delivered a whopping 24-song, career-spanning set.
The three-hour concert is available to watch exclusively on Disney+.
With the North American leg of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour wrapped, John will now set his sights on 2023, during which he’ll perform his final shows in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and the U.K.
As it stands, his current final show is scheduled to take place on July 8 in Stockholm, Sweden.
