Lizzo performs beautiful cover of Stevie Wonder's 'Someday At Christmas' on Saturday Night Live

With Christmas just five days away, Lizzo helped close out Saturday Night Live’s season finale with a beautiful cover of Stevie Wonder's 'Someday At Christmas.'

With the Christmas-themed lighting setting the tone, the 34-year-old musician wowed with the special performance.

Lizzo had earlier released her cover of the song exclusively on the music streaming platform, Amazon Music.

Speaking about her rendition, the American singer said: "I chose to cover 'Someday At Christmas' not just because it's a classic, but because it’s a reminder to us that almost 60 years later, we are still fighting for peace, compassion, and equality.

"A friendly reminder to spread love and kindness this holiday season."

Stevie Wonder originally released the song in November 1966.

Since its release over six decades ago, 'Someday At Christmas' has also been covered by The Jackson 5, Diana Ross, The Temptations, Justin Bieber and more.
