Nicole Kidman usually plays it pretty safe when it comes to hairstyles, rocking her long and straightened strawberry blonde hair for as long as we can remember.

But the 51-year-old has left fans surprised after she took to social media to share a photo and a video showcasing her natural 'do.

Embracing her beautiful ringlets while self-isolating at home, it appears the Big Little Lies actress has ditched her straightener.

And her fans are loving the fresh look!

Taking to the comments to compliment her appearance, one wrote: "Love the curls, they are gorgeous."

The 52-year-old recently revealed she has been trying to cut down on using straighteners as she was concerned about losing her iconic spiral curls.

The mother-of-four admitted: "I shouldn't have abused my hair. I loved that hair. What was I thinking? I'm working on getting that hair again."

Nicole is currently self-isolating in Nashville with husband Keith Urban and their two daughters Sunday, 11, and Faith, nine.
