Prince Louis' heart-wrenching response to the news his great-grandmother had passed away

Speaking to mourners outside Windsor Castle today, Princess Kate revealed Prince Louis' response when he was told of his great-grandmother's passing - and it is absolutely heart-wrenching.

During a conversation with royal fan Banita Ranow, Kate said she welled up when she had to tell her three children, Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven and four-year-old Louis the sad news.

The Princess of Wales also shared that her youngest son, who stayed close to the late monarch during her historic Platinum Jubilee earlier this year, reportedly said: "At least granny is with great grandpa now."

The admission came earlier today as the Prince and Princess of Wales greeted mourners with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle by their side.

It was the first time the "fab four" have been seen together since Commonwealth Day on March 9, 2020.
