Queen has just gone where no other band have ever gone before ...
The legendary band have made history as the first artist to have an album pass the seven million sales mark in the UK.
The Official Charts Company announced that the 1981 album Queen Greatest Hits is now owned by one in every four households in the UK, something no other band has ever accomplished.
The record was already Britain's best-selling album being certified Platinum 23 times, but this is an even greater milestone which was achieved through a combination of physical sales, downloads and streams.
And the rockers are "humbled and honoured" by the accolade.
"No album has done this before in history," guitarist Brian May said in a statement. "Thank you, we appreciate it."
Drummer Roger Taylor added: "The British public and their infinitely-great taste have made this the biggest-selling album in history.
"Thank you very much; we're humbled and honoured. We salute you!"
The record, which features classic singles like 'We Will Rock You' and 'Bohemian Rhapsody,' has recently spent its 1,000th week on the UK album chart.
