Queen releases poignant music video for never-before-heard song recorded by Freddie Mercury 'Face It Alone'

Last week Queen treated fans to a beautiful never-before-heard song recorded by Freddie Mercury.

And now the legendary rockers have released an official music video to accompany the track.

Created by the Queen's content creator Simon Lupton, the video captures the song's poignancy and defiance by touching on themes of solitude, bravery and the redemptive power of friendship.

Titled 'Face It Alone,' the band's surviving members discovered the track in their archives and it dates from The Miracle recording sessions during which they laid down around 30 tracks for the 1989 album.

Mercury died of AIDS-related pneumonia in 1991 at the age of 45. The band has continued touring with Adam Lambert.
