While it has been nearly 30 years since the legendary Freddie Mercury left this earth, a rare recording from 1987 is giving fans new insight into the Queen frontman.
It's no secret Mercury is known as one of the greatest vocalists of all time, but this unearthed clip showcases the untrained singer's incredible four-octave operatic vocal range.
The spine-tingling recording was taken from the special edition of his Barcelona album with Montserrat Caballé, featuring the famous single of the same name.
'Barcelona' went on to become one of the biggest hits of Mercury's solo career, reaching number eight on the UK singles chart.
The song, co-written by Freddie Mercury and Mike Moran, highlighted the Queen frontman's love of opera.
Mercury died of AIDS-related pneumonia in 1991 at 45.
