Rod Stewart releases beautiful new music video for his song dedicated to his father

In honour of Father's Day in the UK this weekend, Rod Stewart has paid tribute to his father with a heartfelt new music video for his song 'Touchline.'

The track is dedicated to his father, who taught him and his brothers to love football - a tradition the 76-year-old singer has passed down to his own sons.

Speaking about the song, the legendary rocker said: "If you know anything about me you know that our dad’s love of football has most definitely left its impact on me and my brothers and I’m delighted that it’s now such an important part of my children’s lives as well.

"The song 'Touchline' was my tribute to him and I’m so happy and moved that the new video takes that to the ultimate level just in time for Father’s Day."

Stewart also announced a very special show in Edinburgh on November 13th in honour of his late father.
