Rod Stewart takes cheeky swipe at Elton John impersonating him in a glittering jacket and glasses

Following 55 years of friendship, pranks and "feuds," Sir Rod Stewart has just taken another cheeky swipe at his long-time pal Sir Elton John.

Wearing a colourful, glittering blazer with matching sparkling sunglasses - more suited to John's wardrobe - the music legend impersonated the Rocket Man live on stage.

Sitting on a bench, the 77-year-old mimicked the 'Your Song' hitmaker by playing air piano while sticking out his teeth.

During the live performance, Stewart giggled at the audience after his mockery.

The 'Maggie May' singer took to social media to share a clip of the moment with his 1.2 million followers.

He affectionately captioned the video: "Still love you, Elt. Rod xxx."

Stewart continues his North American tour this month.
