Rod Stewart's sweet tribute to Sinéad O'Connor

Sir Rod Stewart has shared an old video of him singing Sinéad O'Connor's best-selling hit Nothing Compares 2 U, in memory of the Irish musician.

In the video, the 76-year-old is seen belting out the hit alongside Mary J Blige back in 1990, as a tribute to Nelson Mandela for his 70th birthday.

Rod simply captioned the video "My heart goes out to Sinead O’Connor’s family. What a loss."

Many of Rod's fans commented on the post saying it was a lovely tribute to Sinead.
