Sir Elton John has starred in new Christmas ad featuring Charlotte Tilbury and Kate Moss

It may only be October but Christmas preparations are already well underway for many people, and now music legend Elton John and supermodel Kate Moss are getting into the holiday spirit for Charlotte Tilbury's new Christmas beauty campaign! 

Charlotte told PEOPLE that her vision for this year's campaign became crystal-clear while she was attending one of Elton's concerts and watched him wow the crowd with "Tiny Dancer".

"Elton's always been a huge inspiration to me my entire life," Charlotte said, "He's a musical genius, a true creative, a renaissance man and a national treasure. He's loved by all generations."

Although she’s worked with the Grammy winner on multiple occasions and is a longtime friend of his, she still says being on set together was a pinch-me moment.

"It was an unforgettable, euphoric and fun day," she said, filming alongside her “talented, gorgeous beauty muses.”

When asked by PEOPLE about the collaboration Elton said, "Charlotte and I share the belief that everyone should feel safe and inspired to be their authentic selves. Charlotte Tilbury's brand is the official founding beauty partner of The Rocket Fund from the Elton John AIDS Foundation. The makeup artist's personal contribution to the Rocket Fund will support the Elton John AIDS Foundation in helping over 40,000 young people most at risk of HIV and AIDS access life-saving services and support.

“It's my mission to make sure that everything I do really is rooted in purpose,” Charlotte said.

"I'm so proud to be a part of this campaign, sending a message of love and joy to everyone," agreed Kate Moss.
