Another milestone looms for Vettori

Daniel Vettori's illustrious cricketing career is approaching another major milestone in the Cricket World Cup today.

The veteran Black Caps spinner heads into the match against Afghanistan in Napier on 298 one-day international wickets.

Vettori's claimed eight wickets in the tournament so far, and captain Brendon McCullum says his contribution's been immense.

"To see him back and fit and enjoying his cricket and I think you can tell that by the way he carries himself in the field and the way he chases every ball down like a youngster."
