Updated 10.03am: Lydia Ko has claimed another record.
The 17 year old world number one has become the youngest ever winner of the Australian women's open.
"I just try and have lots of fun here. I've got my mindset that I've always played well here, and it's cool to come to a country where you play well."
She's beaten South Korea's Amy Yang by two shots, finishing at nine under par.
Ko battled Yang for much of her final round, eventually holding firm in the back stretch carding a two under 71.
She says a break for an approaching lightning storm helped her to focus.
"I think that break was really good for me, I had a bit of lunch and got my stuff together and played much better after that."
To celebrate she jumped straight on a plane home.
"Being able to go home is a big thing. I won the Naples last year and got to go home, and here I get to win and go home too. That's the biggest prize."
Ko will next play at New Zealand Women's Open starting Friday in Christchurch.
Meanwhile Ryan Fox has made a stunning come-from-behind victory at the Queensland PGA Championship.
The Kiwi golfer made back-to-back eagles in the final three holes to card an eight under 62 in his final round and finish at 17 under for the tournament.
It's his second win on the Australasian PGA Tour.
