In honour of Lionel Richie winning the Icon Award at the 2022 American Music Awards in Los Angeles, Stevie Wonder and Charlie Puth came through on the keys!
Taking to the stage to perform a medley of his hits, the talented pair delivered an incredible duelling piano duet in tribute to the former Commodores singer.
Wonder and Puth kicked off their performance with Richie's hit, 'Three Times a Lady,' each taking turns singing parts of the ballad.
Next up was 'Easy (Like Sunday Morning),' followed by 'All Night Long,' 'Brick House' and 'Say You, Say Me' - all while the man of honour watched from the audience with a broad smile on his face.
The pair then brought out Smokey Robinson, Melissa Etheridge, Ari Lennox, Muni Long, Jimmie Allen, and more to help sing an all-star version of 'We Are the World.'
As everyone belted the lyrics out, Richie couldn’t help but rush up onto the stage to perform with the group.
Congratulations Lionel!
