Sweet new family portrait of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and baby Archie released

Less than a day after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle revealed that they were expecting a baby girl, the photographer behind their recent photoshoot celebrated the couple's announcement by unveiling a never-before-seen image of the happy family.

Taking to social media, their friend and photographer Misan Harriman shared another stunning black-and-white photo of the Sussexes embracing their son, Archie.

"What wonderful news to celebrate on International Women’s Day! Congratulations my friends, and welcome to the #girldad club H," Harriman wrote alongside the image.

The couple announced the exciting news that their second child would be a girl during their interview with Oprah Winfrey.

When asked how he felt when he learned the baby's sex, Harry said: "Amazing. Just grateful, like—to have any child, any one or any two would have been amazing, but to have a boy and then a girl, what more can you ask for?"

Before adding: "Now we've got our family. We've got the four of us and our two dogs and it's great."

The extra special news comes after the royal couple revealed they suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage in July last year.

"Losing a child means carrying an almost unbearable grief, experienced by many but talked about by a few," Meghan wrote in a moving New York Times essay about her experience on November 25.

Meghan and Harry officially stepped down from their roles as senior royals last year.
