Thanks to a glitch Apple's Siri thinks Bob Dylan has been dead for 11 years

As we all know, Bob Dylan is very much alive.

But according to Apple's all-knowing digital assistant Siri, he's been dead for 11 years.

That's right.

If you were to ask Siri how old the 78-year-old singer-songwriter - who only recently toured New Zealand - is, she'll respond saying he passed away at the age of 66 on April 24, 2008.

Apple has since swiftly fixed the glitch after several news stories began circulating the error.

But this wasn't the first time Siri declared a celebrity was dead before their time.

Back in 2017, the digital assistant reported to fans that John Travolta was dead.

She also reported that comic legend Stan Lee had died on July 2018, months before he actually passed away.
