When it comes to a red carpet appearance, Blake Lively never disappoints.

And yesterday's Met Gala was no exception.

The 34-year-old actress stole the spotlight when she arrived on the 2022 red carpet with her breathtaking Statue of Liberty inspired couture gown.

Wearing a stunning pink strapless gown with gold accents swept into a huge bow at her waist, her dress was later let down to reveal a stunning blue train.

But while all eyes were on Lively, we all missed Ryan Reynolds having a 'proud husband' moment from afar.

Adorable footage has since emerged of the 45-year-old actor watching the mother-of-three in awe from the top of the steps as she unveiled her lengthy train.

The Deadpool actor could be seen beaming as he marvelled at his wife, before clapping her on as she made her way up the famous steps at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

He was then seen saying to an assistant standing nearby: "[She] Looks amazing."

The duo, who have been married since 2012, have become renowned for their loving and honest relationship, with many considering them to be the epitome of "couple goals".
