Following the announcement they're releasing their first-ever Christmas album, the Backstreet Boys are spreading even more festive cheer with a series of 12 holiday-themed shows!
A Very Backstreet Christmas Party will launch at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on November 11 and will run through to December 23.
The concerts will mark the first time the beloved boy band - made up of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson - has done a holiday show and will see them performing songs off their upcoming Christmas album.
The album, titled A Very Backstreet Christmas, is set to be released on October 14 and will feature a selection of classics and three originals, including their take on WHAM!'s 'Last Christmas,' 'White Christmas,' 'Silent Night' and 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.'
Dorough admitted the quintet finally found time to make their first Christmas album during the onset of the pandemic when their Backstreet Boys' DNA World Tour, which originally began in 2019, had to stop halfway through.
"Believe it or not COVID gave us the gift of time to work on this record," he said.
"We started working on this about two years ago. Normally, during regular times, we're always on tour. So, now that we have the time off we started working on it."
Bring on Christmas!
