Jenny Suo has called it quits at Three after eight years on the news desk.
The Mediaworks journalist and presenter is going to the competition, joining TVNZ’s general reporting team.
According to Suo’s LinkedIn she has been a journalist at Mediaworks since December, 2009.
More recently she’s been hosting Newshub’s Late news show.
In a farewell tweet she told fans, “it’s been a pleasure.”
One Twitter user questioned where she was going after leaving Three.
She replied: “I am moving across the road to joins the team at One news.”
Head of Broadcast News Richard Sutherland said Three was sad to see her go.
"We are sorry to be losing Jenny but wish her all the very best in her new role. A replacement will be announced in due course"
Last night Sacha McNeil filled in for Suo on NewsHub Late.
She follows in the footsteps of Rebecca Wright and Hilary Barry, who also departed Mediaworks and took up positions at One News.
